  It was great! The room was large and perfect for a family of 5. It was very clean and the location was perfect. The people at the desk were very helpful: they suggested a fun restaurant where we got to try poutine and they let us know about a music festival that was in walking distance of the hotel.

  It was close to everything we wanted to see. We were able to walk to most places and the metro stop with nearby as well.

  Breakfast was not good. Cereals although it said Bran, were frosted flakes. No plain yogurt, white breads, junk cereal, it all just seemed so unhealthy and venue felt like a school cafeteria.

  we had reserved a non smoking room, and were given a smoking room. we protested, but the clerk said he could do nothing. this was very disappointing. we have stayed at square phillips severla times in the past, and recommended it to friends, but never again

  Very clean, spacious, and wonderful architectural detail. The kitchen facilities were excellent and the continental breakfast that was included was very convenient, especially travelling with family.

  It was easy to get to. Staff very friendly and accomodating. Close to downtown, can walk to shop or eat....excellent place to stay. Was worried about language, the staff were warm and welcoming.

  Prompt attention by Hotel staff at all times, adequate and healthy breakfasts and the cleanliness and peacefulness in our luxurious rooms was very much appreciated. Location and proximity to St.Catherine street for shopping was very pleasing to my wife. Will undoubtedly recommend it to anyone visiting your beautiful city.

  We especially liked the location to downtown Montreal. The room was excellent. It was spotlessly clean and very accessible. The continental breakfast was great to get you started on your day without having to go out and get coffee. The consierge was extremely helpful to us in recommending spots to eat with success. Also, having a valet parking service with inside parking was essential to our stay. We felt very comfortable knowing that our car was safe and secure while we were enjoying our weekend.. We also enjoyed the top floor deck. This was nice because we could enjoy the sun and relax outside in the big city after alot of walking. We will definitely book with Le Square Phillips Hotel & Suites on our next trip to Montreal.

  Warm welcome and helpful reception. Large spacious rooms - probably more than we needed! Good facilities including useful laundry room.

  Difficult to find late on a Monday evening in the dark! Breakfast, although plentiful, was a bit of a scramble particularly during the last half an hour of serving. We felt 9,30 was a bit early to finish serving breakfast.

  What I liked best about Le Square Phillips Hotel was its location and style of rooms. Its central location is perfect for tourists, you step outside and to your right is the beautiful Hudson Bay Company store and your are within a short walking distance of Old Montreal, Chinatown, Crescent Street, McGill University and all the charm of downtown Montreal. Valet parking is much cheaper than other hotels. We book a Junior Suite which is absolutely huge and has a full kitchen with a continental breakfast included. The breakfast you can even stock up and bring to your room. The space is incredible and being able to store leftovers from great restaurants in a fridge and chill some beer and wine is great. There is a lovely rooftop terrace with great views and the staff is very friendly and efficient. I am so glad I found this hotel. We go twice a year to pick up and deliver our children to school in Montreal and this hotel really makes a difference.
